CONCEPT “C”

The slanted typeface of this concept has been punched clean through the masthead and partially reveals the cover art below.

Our intention was develop a design that clearly said, “Pick me up and buy me“. And the real thrill here is in the cover art. The design allows a nice integration between that artwork and the masthead, yet keeps a clear division between both. This concept was given the official greenlight from the client.
