DAVE BISSEL
Account Manager/Strategic Designer
dave@bisseltitus.com

After years spent in the trenches of design, advertising, marketing and corporate branding, Dave Bissel has become something of a modern day Renaissance man. Graduating with a B.S. in Graphic Design he soon branched out to learn the ins and outs of the web and multimedia field, producing several websites for EDMC, the parent company of the Art Institutes International.

In addition to shouldering his share of the Bissel & Titus design work, Dave has grown more interested in other aspects of the business and has spent a considerable amount of time studying strategic marketing. As Account Manager, he uses that knowledge while working closely with clients and vendors. He also makes certain that all jobs are completed on time, on budget and on target.

Dave has spent the last few years trying to beat a nicotine addiction and prefers his Jack on the rocks — the way Dino liked it. Finally, he’s in the process of pursuing a Masters of Science at Duquesne University in the field of multimedia technology.

JIM TITUS
Art Director/Conceptual Designer
jim@bisseltitus.com

For the past six years or so, Jim Titus has been gathering a wealth of experience in design and advertising. Under clients both local and national, he’s used his conceptual skill and natural enthusiasm to continually push himself to find innovative solutions to every challenge he’s faced.

Jim is responsible for ensuring that all Bissel & Titus solutions not only exceed client expectations but also maintain a unique, highly visual approach from early thumbnails through final wax and polish. Whether furiously sketching ideas for a new logo or carefully fine-tuning an ad campaign, he approaches the task at hand from all angles, providing the client with a wide range of solutions — each with their own merits.

In his spare time, Jim endures the stress of house hunting with his wife Amanda and never misses an opportunity to watch Planet of the Apes again. When his schedule permits, he serves as adjunct professor at La Roche College teaching a series of courses on illustration and advanced typography.
